Weather Policy

While we haven't quite figured out how to control the weather yet (we're working on it!), San Diego's typically great weather makes our job a little easier.

San Diego's Weather is Typically Sunny

Please scroll all the way through for our full weather policy & procedures

We understand that San Diego's weather is typically sunny and 75. However, we also acknowledge that the occasional rainy and gloomy weather may affect our operations. We will always do our best to ensure you get your perfect beach day!

We ask for prompt responses & flexibility if there is inclement weather so we can move forward in the best possible way.

You’ll have options

You can either

  1. Cancel with a full refund (minus the booking fee). Cancelations must be made before your setup begins. Setup times range anywhere between 1 to 3 hours before your start time. Please reach out to confirm you know when your setup is scheduled.

  2. Reschedule

  3. Move forward & hope for the best!

Please text 619-220-8189 with your decision.

(*If booked with the batch app it will be minus the booking fee and the batch app booking fee)

If You Decide to Move Forward

  • If rain chances are over 15% we do not set out the blankets. They are plush and absorb a lot of water, trust us, you don’t want them out there after it rains.

  • We reserve the right to push your booking start time up or back up to one hour as we can not setup in active rain.

  • We reserve the right to breakdown your setup at any point if rain is actively approaching. Please note: if lightning is approaching on the area we must begin breakdowns to ensure the safety of our employees and guests.

  • Once you cabanas and umbrellas have been setup we cannot refund you.

  • We reserve the right to cancel your booking with a 60% refund if we can not make it happen.

If It’s Windy

If the winds are predicted to be 10 MPH we will keep the cabanas & umbrellas lowered. We ask that you only raise them if the winds die down & pay special attention to lowering them when you leave.
